What stages do you invest in?

We prefer to lead series A & B investments. The fund is disciplined in valuation and generally prefers to buy large stakes (~20% post money capitalization). On average, our check sizes range from $2-10M.

What sectors do you invest in?

MK Capital invests in B2B software, cloud services, and robotics companies with a recurring revenue model and an enterprise sales motion.

Our investments span across sectors – from healthcare, to digital media, to supply chain tech. We do not believe that there is a “wrong sector” to invest in.

What differentiates MK Capital from an ordinary VC?

Unlike other VCs, we, the GPs at MK Capital, are collectively the largest LP in our own fund – whereas other VCs might get paid a commission for closing deals, we make money only when the founders we invest in also realize a return.

Accordingly, we prefer to make fewer, bigger, and more involved bets. We strongly prefer to hold ~20% of the post-money capitalization and acquire a board seat to serve as an active strategic partner to their portfolio. Instead of a mere line of capital, we prefer to bolster our teams with executive networks and leverage our expertise to help our portfolio realize $100M+ exits.
